Younger Years
I started writing when I was a little kid but did not start writing professionally until 2020. My bigger books began in 2019, first spawning off as standalone stories but as more and more were written, they began to intertwine with each other, creating the now known HLU, AKA Hypnotist Literary Universe. As of today, I have stopped writing novels and now write screenplays.
Dark Writing
Writing is a lot of hard work. And especially since I tie real life and fiction together, it makes it even tougher of a job. When I first started writing stories, I wanted to tell tales that had meaning to them and have strong emotional impact while also being fun and scary. Writing is a way for me to input real-life traumas and other emotions to create powerful storytelling. My life experiences can manifest as characters or references throughout books, making them much more personal to work with. After all, the author always has a part of themselves in their works.
Films from A Mad Experimenter
I have always loved movies. If you read any of my books, you would notice how fast-paced they are. Which is why I decided to switch gears and write screenplays! As of 2023, I'm majoring in Film Studies with a minor in Creative Writing and Psychology. I found a passion for making films during my time at JCCC from 2020-2022 and now want to persue a career in filmmaking. You can watch me grow with what I post on my Youtube channel, The Bros CB!
